Bee the change
10% donation of sales from Honeycomb Collection goes to Bee Friendly Trust. Honey bee populations are struggling and without them, it wouldn’t be possible to have many of our favourite foods on our plates.
Birthstone
bluetiful sapphire
The name sapphire is derived from the Persian word 'safir.' meaning 'beloved of Saturn.' Ancient Persians called sapphires the 'celestial stone' and Greeks who came to rule ancient Egypt after the conquest of Alexander the Great adopted the sapphire as the gem of Apollo, God of prophecy and justice. The sapphire was said to represent PURITY and WISDOM.
Sapphire & Lapis Lazuli gemstones are September's birthstones.
Malachite
Malachite, with its vivid green linear curvatures, had once been said to ward off evil forces and black magic. The Ancient Greeks used Malachite to worship Venus and Ancient Romans associated it with Goddess Juno and referred to it as ''the peacock stone''. It is also known as The Merchant Stone and some believed that malachite can attract good luck.
