A delightful 9ct white gold open pear shape, garnished with sparkling diamonds, lightly holds a single round cut garnet. This pendant comes with a matching 9ct white gold 45cm / 18inch chain.

Garnet is a very strong gemstone, with some stones being found set in jewellery dating back to the bronze age.
Garnet is the assigned gemstone for a January birthstone, and is traditionally gifted to those celebrating a 2nd anniversary. Diamond is the birthstone for April, and is the traditional gemstone to give on a 10th and 60th anniversary.
It is suggested that the gemstone Noah hung on the ark to illuminate the way through the flooding was a garnet.
